Blogger Monday: Abbeylauren from A Girl Called Glasgow

W.E. believe that every blogger's voice should be heard and are constantly astounded by the quality, honesty and variety in what you share with us.  Every Monday, Wear Eponymous sits down to interview a blogger who has something to say in their own unique and engaging words.

Today we speak with Abbeylauren from A Girl Called Glasgow!

W.E: Hey! Tell us who you are! (Give us a little info about you!)
Abbeylauren:
Hey! I'm Abbeylauren, I'm a second year Media and communications student, I was born in bath but i've spent the past 10 years living in the West end of Glasgow. I'm currently interning in Social media marketing which I love ever so much and would love to pursue as a career! I love shopping local and seeking out Scottish brands and talent. I'm a massive lover of Cacti and own 15 at this current moment...oops!

W.E: What made you venture into blogging?
Abbeylauren:
I started my blog in 2012 to share my passion for fashion and beauty, I then gave up and deleted almost all of my old posts and didn't take blogging up again to a month or so ago! Now i love to share my newest finds and snippets of my everyday student life!

W.E: What is your go-to hair-do?
Abbeylauren:
I have a natrual afro which is slightly tamed with my micro-weave but it's still murder to style in the mornings! I usually just bung the top half of my hair in to a messy top-knot and quickly curl the bottom half with a 2' curling tong! Simple!

W.E: What has been the most rewarding factor about blogging for you?
Abbeylauren:
I feel the most rewarding aspect is seeing your free time, which in the past was filled with meaningless, actively occupy a space online. You can physically see your work grow and change and I find that so rewarding.

W.E: How do you define beauty?
Abbeylauren:
I feel like beauty isn't something specific it's just a spark, wether that's your accent, your mind or your eyes it's just something which is overly appealing to someone or yourself. That's a hard one!

W.E: Your all time favourite wardrobe ensemble?
Abbeylauren:
It has to be Black ripped 'mom' jeans with a Striped basic long sleeve! It can be dressed up or down with footwear and accessories and is so comfortable! I honestly find myself flinging them on at least once a week!

W.E: Name a wardrobe item you'd be lost without.
Abbeylauren:
Ripped jeans, without a doubt. They're so versatile, they never seem to go out of style and can be matched with anything to suit every occasion!

W.E: Finally, what is your favourite Wear Eponymous piece this season?
Abbeylauren:
Can i choose more than one? Is that okay?
I love the 60's Shift dresses in both neutral and pink. They're so classy and versatile, and that neckline is oh so flattering! I also love the Katie lees Prisim studs! If only I didn't stretch my ears when I was younger, I'd kill to wear them!
