Blogger Monday: Becky from Becky Louise Beauty

W.E. believe that every blogger's voice should be heard and are constantly astounded by the quality, honesty and variety in what you share with us.  Every Monday, Wear Eponymous sits down to interview a blogger who has something to say in their own unique and engaging words.

Today we speak to Becky from Beckylouisebeauty who’s happy to blog about anything, from beauty to dinner parties - our kinda girl!

W.E: Hey! Tell us who you are!
Bex: I'm Bex, an 18 year old blogger based in Bristol. UK. Even though my blog is called Becky Louise Beauty, it's not all I talk about. I focus on fashion and beauty, but have talked about everything from my holiday to what I've cooked for a dinner party!

W.E: What made you venture into blogging?
Bex: Quite simply, I needed a creative outlet. I was going through a period of high stress and needed something to focus on. I'd been watching YouTube videos and reading blogs for years, and it's always something I wanted to do- something just finally snapped and made me do it.

W.E: What is your go-to hair-do?
Bex: On a "I needed to leave 5 minutes ago" day? I just pull my hair round to one side and pin back the irritating section that thrives on falling in front of my face.
On a "I should have washed my hair last night" day, I spray in a bit of dry shampoo and put my hair in braid.

Every day is one these two days... Or both!

W.E: What has been the most rewarding factor about blogging for you?
Bex: It may sound a bit corny, but it's definitely the people I've met along the way. Be that fellow bloggers or people who read my blog and watch my videos. I've received so much support from everyone and now have several people I can call friends that I would never have met if I hadn't started.

W.E: How do you define beauty?
Bex: It's a thing that's almost impossible to define. Ask the industry and it's how you style yourself, what makeup you use to get that perfect completion. Today I ended up chatting to a lady on my way to work, who complimented me, saying I had a lovely complexion. She wore no makeup but a huge smile and a sparkle in her eyes. She was a lovely woman, and her stories were inspiring, but I think she could answer this better than I ever could. Beauty is how you see yourself, the way you act and the way you treat others, no matter how you dress or what makeup you use.

W.E: Your all time favourite wardrobe ensemble?
Bex: I bought a 50s style A-line skirt in a sale. I pair this with a white vest top, white short sleeved cardigan and white converses, and I feel like no one can bring me down!

W.E: Name a wardrobe item you'd be lost without.
Bex: Definitely the kimono! I'm a sucker for an easy outfit. When you're running late all you have to do is throw on a vest top, jeans and a kimono and you're good to go. Want an evening look? Just throw on a skirt. You can dress them up with leggings and pumps, or wear them with shorts for a more casual look. Perfect!

W.E: Finally, what is your favourite Wear Eponymous piece this season?
Bex: I love the beige trench coat! I have an obsession with anything vintage or vintage-inspired, and I will definitely be ordering this!
