Guest Post from Théa Mechleb at My Cup Of Tea

We love when you send us your guest posts; the diversity of subjects, writings styles and passions is simply fantastic!

Today we’re happy to share Théa’s post on one of her favourite designers, Zuhair Murad:

Zuhair Murad is a fashion designer born in Lebanon and first started his career with creating ready-to-wear clothing. He’s been since then, invited to fashion weeks all around the world, to present his newest collections. He is now also involved in Haute Couture, and became all the more known internationally.

His 2013 collection is probably his best one yet. Zuhair Murad actually attached to his faded colors, was able to choose stronger and hotter colors. While expanding his palette, the genius was still doing his best in showing off the best feminine features.

The thin waistline being a must for the Lebanese designer, all his creations are based on the same style of clothing. We can see in his masterpieces that he love to point the attention on what he prefers in a woman’s body: a slim waist.

Whether in his ready-to-wear collections, his haute couture collections or his wedding collections, Zuhair Murad adopts this one characteristic in all his creations.

While some say that it’s irrelevant to keep on doing the same kind of dresses over and over again, I believe that this typical feature of the designer’s dresses makes some charm for the whole collection.

In fact, as I previously mentioned, Murad also produces wedding dresses with which the designer creates a princess out of the bride. Mainly, Murad likes to show off what needs to be focused on through the clothing. A bride needs to be the principal focus, so the designer makes sure that she feels perfect while dressed on point.
